An Ortolan Bunting (Emberiza hortulana) singing in the sunset on the Causse Mejean in the south of france. These are beautiful birds and they have a wonderful song and i had the opportunity to hold some in my hands while helping some people of the LPO banding them for the Musée Paris, a great experience!

I had that chance a while ago thanks to my parents. (especially my father who is an ornithologist)
I remember how I was able to feel the little heartbeat of the bird I had in my hands while my father banded it..
